Turkish company «Pegasus» has submitted an application to operate Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan flights

The Turkish company «Pegasus» has applied to Armenia’s civil aviation authority with a request to operate Yerevan–Istanbul flights. This was announced by Sona Harutyunyan, press secretary of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia. «Yes, the Turkish “Pegasus” has applied with a request to operate two flights per week starting from February», she said. Թրքական «Pegasus» ընկերութիւնը Երեւան-Իսթանպուլ-Երեւան թռիչքներ իրականացնելու յայտ ներկայացուցած է

The Turkish company «Pegasus» has applied to Armenia’s civil aviation authority with a request to operate Yerevan–Istanbul flights.

This was announced by Sona Harutyunyan, press secretary of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia.

«Yes, the Turkish “Pegasus” has applied with a request to operate two flights per week starting from February», she said.

As to when a decision will be made, Sona Harutyunyan did not clarify, informing that the Civil Aviation Authority is currently reviewing the application.

It should be noted that previously the Turkish side had announced that one Turkish and one Armenian company had submitted applications to operate Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan flights.

On 30 December it became known that the aviation authorities of the Republic of Armenia had permitted the company «Flyone Armenia» to operate 3 weekly charter flights on the Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan route.
