US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu had a telephone conversation, during which they touched upon Armenian-Turkish relations.
In a statement issued by the US State Department, it is noted that Blinken and Cavusoglu, among other matters, discussed Turkey’s appointment of a special representative to discuss the process of normalizing relations with Armenia.
It is noted that the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries discussed the possibilities of deepening bilateral cooperation, as well as issues of mutual concern as NATO allies.
