On October 5, the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh employed tactical maneuvers on one of the most challenging fronts, drawing the enemy into a trap and destroying the greater part of its unit.
The Armenian side created the impression of a retreat near the Azerbaijani units, after which the enemy, attempting to quickly seize the positions abandoned by the Armenian forces, found itself in a trap. Subsequently, as a result of a powerful artillery strike, the greater part of the Azerbaijani unit was destroyed. Leaving more than 200 killed servicemen on the battlefield, the enemy fled in disarray.
