The situation in the Martuni region of Artsakh remains tense; shelling and rocket fire continued throughout the night and into the morning. The information is reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters, citing Martuni Mayor Edik Avanesyan.
Despite the dangerous situation, the relevant bodies are carrying out restoration work under conditions fraught with considerable danger, in many cases becoming targets of the enemy.
“In the city of Martuni, cleanup and restoration of damages are also being carried out. With the combined forces of the Defense Army and the militia, the possible and the impossible are being done to properly resolve the tasks at hand. The enemy has received an equivalent response that it will long remember. Overall, Martuni remains in the same position it was in during the 90s. Martuni, with its residents, stands tall, is firm, and we shall go until the end, and our end shall be victory,” it was stated in the communiqué:
