The Azerbaijani side resumed large-scale offensive operations early in the morning of 29 September along almost the entire length of the defense line of the Artsakh Defense Army. This was announced by Shushan Stepanyan, press secretary of the RA Ministry of Defense, emphasizing that, in particular, during the offensive operations, TOS-1A heavy flamethrower systems are being used in certain directions.
“The use of TOS, Smerch and other large-caliber systems changes the logic and scale of military operations, raising it to a new level. In this regard, the Ministry of Defense warns that the Armenian armed forces are forced to use types of weapons and military equipment that have a great impact on fire destruction over large areas and, as a result, the destruction of manpower, as well as mobile and immovable property. At this moment, the units of the Defense Army are confidently repelling all enemy attempts to attack, inflicting heavy losses in ammunition and manpower,” the RA MOD spokesperson stated.
