The Azerbaijani authorities, this time by issuing stamps, are deepening the anti-Armenian hatred, which is also an overt call for the extermination of Armenians in Artsakh at the state level. This was announced by the Office of the Human Rights Defender.
In particular, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan has issued “Azerbaijan 2020” postage stamps, one of which is an overt call for the extermination of the Armenians of Artsakh.
On the stamp, a man in medical attire subjects Artsakh to chemical disinfection with a tool, in Armenian, overtly presenting it as “dirt.”
This stamp once again proves the claims of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia that Azerbaijan is pursuing a policy of genocide against Armenians, and it does so on the basis of ethnic affiliation, solely because the people living in Artsakh are Armenian.
The propaganda of anti-Armenian hatred carried out at the state level has been consistently implemented for years. The brutalities and tortures committed by servicemen of the Azerbaijani armed forces against ethnic Armenians during the war are the consequence of that propaganda of enmity and the organized anti-Armenian policy.
The underlying causes of all this are substantiated by the evidence and analysis of the joint public report of the Human Rights Defenders of Armenia and Artsakh (“Organized Hate Speech and Enmity in Azerbaijan against Ethnic Armenians as Root Causes of Torture and Inhuman Treatment by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on Ethnic Grounds”).
