The unshakable creed of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party has always been unwavering devotion and persistent service to our people and our homeland, without ever conditioning it, even in the slightest measure, on any consideration. All the sworn recruits of the party’s ideology are filled with just pride by the inspiring fact that, for a full century, the ADL, with unshakable conviction, has remained constantly attached to the slogan “Always with the homeland and the people; always for the homeland and the people,” providing, by every possible means, continuous support to the homeland’s statehood and government, with the clear logic that only thus is the future of our people guaranteed.
The ADL has its own clear national convictions. If and when there are phenomena and circumstances regarding which it has concerns, emotions, even reservations, it expresses them, as constructive advice, in the most courteous manner.
It is beyond any doubt that, especially in this perilous and formidable period, when our homeland and people are facing the gravest calamities, it is imperatively necessary to have complete nationwide unity.
Consequently, any aspiration or intention that, directly or even indirectly, hinders our unity is categorically intolerable. However, it is particularly reprehensible to the highest degree that a loathsome clique, with a false Ramgavar guise, constantly spreads venom and poison against our state and statehood. The authors of these hostile, abominable writings, statements and deeds are traitors of our nation, undoubtedly.
We deem it necessary to unmask, condemn and denounce those wretches. They are abortions, expelled from the ranks of our party for their lawlessness and culpable conduct, or immediately subject to expulsion. Each one of them is a self-centred, ambitious and arrogant piece of trash, the author of highly suspicious, devious and sad numerous deeds. The obvious characteristics of that clique are fraud, mendacity, blackmail, bullying and unfounded accusations. Through falsification, extortion and exploitation, they have plundered numerous valuable party assets and huge sums of money; and with the allure “bestowed” by that theft, they claim to have created a “class” of privileged ones, whereas the ADL, which was born from the people and belongs to the people, radically rejects all class discrimination.
In Artsakh, besides the mourning of the horrifying war, our displaced relatives in particular have diverse needs. It is a harsh winter, and a large number of compatriots are still homeless. In Armenia, the families of our heroic fallen sons and of the brave men who returned disabled from the fierce battles are in need of immediate assistance. Furthermore, while we mourn the tragic circumstances of our comrade who, driven to extreme despair by the economic crisis, committed suicide, and we are deeply distressed by the dire conditions facing our comrades in Syria and Lebanon, the members of this self-styled “intellectual” gang of bandits are recklessly squandering the money they looted from the party to satisfy their personal whims, to feed their flunkies, to buy “new” loyalties, and even to keep mistresses.
For decades, their contemptible deeds and their nation-harming conduct and positions have gravely tarnished the name of the ADL, trampling even our collective party dignity. Until now, for various considerations, we have preferred not to speak about these extremely unpleasant and negative figures. However, we hereby declare that we have in our possession data and documents revealing their crimes, which we shall publish if conditions dictate doing so. Patience, too, has its maximum limits of elasticity.
The Armenian Democratic Liberal Party, more than ever, proceeds vigorously and purposefully, perfectly faithful to its sworn national mission. To that end, the Central Board is ready to welcome with open arms the active participation of comrades, male and female, who, for various reasons, have had a relatively passive stance for some time. Because the current crisis situation allotted to our people alarms us that now is the time to demonstrate our true patriotism in the most effective manner.
