The process of restricting entry and exit to and from the city of Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin) and carrying out temperature checks on people on the remaining three roads was suspended from 18 March at 20:00, taking into account that the cases have not gone beyond the contact circle of the patient confirmed about a week ago. Commandant Tigran Avinyan wrote this on the Facebook page of the Armenian Unified Information Centre.
“At the same time, I again urge the residents of Etchmiadzin, as well as our entire population, to strictly observe all the rules of the state of emergency and to show high civic responsibility and awareness, not to participate in or organise crowded events and gatherings, to self-isolate in case of flu-like symptoms, and in case of necessity to immediately consult a doctor or contact the 060 838300 hotline,” he wrote.
