Thanks to search-and-rescue operations, two citizens — father and son Mikael and Gegham Petrosyans — have been transported to Stepanakert a short while ago, accompanied by Russian peacekeepers and the International Committee of the Red Cross. This was reported by the Artsakh Republic Emergency Situations Service.
The video is here:
Director of the State Emergency Service, Major General Karen Sargsyan, and Major General of the Defense Army Ashot Balasanyan greeted them and accompanied them to the Republican Medical Center, where the Petrosyans are receiving appropriate medical care.
Karen Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the Russian forces carrying out the peacekeeping mission in Artsakh, under the command of Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, to Major General of the Defense Army Ashot Balasanyan, and to the escorts of the group conducting the search operations.
The Director of the Emergency Service, Karen Sargsyan, noted that search operations are ongoing on a daily basis and that all possible efforts and means are being employed to locate missing servicemen and citizens.
