UN humanitarian assistance remains inaccessible to the people of Nagorno-Karabakh to this day, stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, receiving the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia, Shombi Sharp, who is completing his mission.
Pashinyan at the same time underscored the UN’s support to Armenia in overcoming the consequences of the “Corona” pandemic.
Highly appreciating the cooperation with the Armenian government, Shombi Sharp emphasized that the UN continues to stand by Armenia and the Armenian people, supporting the implementation of reforms and the overcoming of complex challenges.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on the Armenia-UN partnership and the agenda of peace and stability in the region.
