A wanted notice has been issued for former Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan. This was reported by the Prosecutor’s Office.
It should be noted that Vigen Sargsyan is accused of exceeding his official authority. The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction had earlier granted the motion to arrest former Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan.
According to law enforcement, in January 2018, during the process of distributing apartments in a building on the balance sheet of the defense department, he deliberately committed actions clearly beyond the scope of his authority.
The Prosecutor’s Office has instructed the body conducting the proceedings to take measures to declare Sargsyan wanted.
