The Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues is determined to address the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and to try to reach a solution under which Nagorno-Karabakh receives international status and remains Armenian. According to a report by Armenpress, this was stated by Frank Pallone, co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues, during the signing of a memorandum of understanding via video link between the Armenia-US Parliamentary Friendship Group of the RA National Assembly and the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues.
“The Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues will continue to work toward establishing lasting peace in the region. I know that this is a tense period now, and there is an attack by Azerbaijan. And we know that we must have a solution under which Nagorno-Karabakh will have international status and remain Armenian,” Pallone said.
The congressman stressed that they are therefore determined to address these issues, trying to resolve them and remaining committed to the goal of strengthening relations between the Caucus and the Armenia-US Friendship Group.
