US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, congressmen and Representative of Armenia on International Legal Matters Yegishe Kirakosyan discussed Azerbaijan’s human rights violations and Armenia’s efforts against them in international courts.
This was announced on his Twitter page by US House of Representatives member and Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues Frank Pallone.
“Today we met with Yegishe Kirakosyan, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other members of the Armenian Caucus. We discussed Azerbaijan’s horrific human rights violations and Armenia’s efforts at the International Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights,” the congressman noted.
Pallone also reported that they spoke at the Capitol with Artsakh Foreign Minister David Babayan, discussing the humanitarian crisis caused by Azerbaijan’s attacks in Artsakh, and the need to protect the Armenian population from further Azerbaijani attack.
