Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has dispatched Zareh Sinanyan, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, to Lebanon and Syria. The Prime Minister’s decision was published on the executive body’s e-governance platform.
According to the document, Sinanyan will be on an official mission from 7 to 11 March inclusive to Lebanon (Beirut: 7 March, 9-11 March) and Syria (Damascus: 7-8 March, Aleppo: 8-9 March, Kesab: 9 March), with the aim of identifying the problems and needs of the Armenian communities and institutions affected by the earthquake.
Upon his return, Sinanyan must submit a report on the results of the mission to the staff of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia within three days.
