24 highly qualified diaspora Armenian specialists will begin work in the government of the Republic of Armenia. This was announced by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
“They are starting today. In the first phase, 24 highly qualified diaspora Armenian specialists will begin work in the RA government. From Canada, Denmark, Russia, Lebanon, France, Norway to Israel, Holland and China — even the pandemic has not prevented them from reaching Armenia.
The participants in the program were welcomed and wished a good arrival by High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan. The Commissioner expressed the hope that they will have an invaluable work experience in the homeland.
Afterwards, the director of the “Towards Armenia” foundation, Sevan Gabagyan, and the co-founder of the “RepatArmenia” foundation, Vartan Marashlyan, presented to the participants the peculiarities of the working style in Armenian state bodies and gave practical advice for quickly adapting to the environment.
Due to COVID-19 and restricted air travel, some participants in the program will arrive in Armenia a little later,” the statement said.
