Armenia: Roads Difficult to Pass After Yesterday’s Snowfall

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of 08:35 on 17 January, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. “The Vardenyats Pass and the Sotk-Karvachar road are closed for trucks and difficult to pass for other vehicles. The Hartashen-Tashir section of the H-31 road is closed. The Yelpin curves are difficult to pass. In the Syunik Province, there is black ice in places on the roads. Snow is falling in the Vardenyats Pass, on the Saravan-“Zanger” section and the section called “Meghri Mountain,” and in the town of Aparan in the Aragatsotn
