President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, together with his wife Noune Sarkissian, attended the solemn celebration of the enthronement of Japan’s new Emperor Naruhito in Tokyo at the invitation of the Japanese government, reports the press service of the President of the Republic of Armenia.
Present at the ceremony held at the Imperial Palace of Japan were delegates from 183 countries of the world, including royal families, heads of states and governments, other high-ranking officials, and heads of international organizations.
During his stay in Japan, President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian held separate meetings with President of the Republic of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid and Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić.
