Armenian-produced PCR test kits for detecting the coronavirus are already ready. They will be used for the tests carried out by the Ministry of Health under state order.
This was announced on his Facebook page by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, adding that this is a very serious advance for our medical science and fundamental sciences.
The Minister noted that he wishes to express special gratitude to the Institute of Molecular Biology for developing and producing the test kits, as well as to the supplier for acquiring and importing into Armenia the necessary equipment and materials for their development.
