Armenia’s national football team hosted the Bosnian national team at the Republican Stadium. The 6th round match of Group J of the Euro-2020 football championship qualifying tournament ended with a glorious victory for the Armenian footballers, 4-2. The scorer was Armenia’s national team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
This was the fourth meeting between the Armenian and Bosnian national teams. The Bosnians had won the previous three meetings — in 2010 in the World Cup qualifying round with scores of 4-1 and 2-0, and in the first round of the Euro-2020 qualifying stage with a score of 2-1.
