Artur Manukyan, candidate on the national electoral list of the “My Step” party alliance, has assumed the duties of a deputy with a swearing-in ceremony. According to Armenpress, Manukyan assumed the duties of deputy at the National Assembly session on September 16.
“The Central Electoral Commission has presented the protocol on granting the mandate of a deputy elected to the National Assembly and whose powers were terminated early to the next candidate, according to which the mandate is given to Artur Manukyan, the next candidate on the national electoral list of the ‘My Step’ party alliance,” presented National Assembly President Ararat Mirzoyan.
Artur Manukyan, in accordance with the constitutional law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, assumed the duties of deputy with a swearing-in ceremony.
Earlier, member of the “My Step” faction Edgar Arakelyan had relinquished his deputy mandate.
