The Azerbaijani side continues to complain that Armenian artillery is allegedly firing at their villages, but at the same time they continue to deploy their own artillery assets in the vicinity of their own villages, endangering their citizens.
Razm.info reports that in a satellite image taken on 8 October, the villages of Askipara, Sahalabad and Duyarlu in Azerbaijan’s Tartar district are visible, and in their midst is a position of 3 batteries of 130mm M-46 cannons, with the positions having been dug relatively recently.
One of the artillery batteries is located at a distance of only about 50m from one of the houses of the village of Askipara.
In essence, in this case as well, they have surrounded their artillery positions with their own villages, turning the population into a shield.
