According to the amendments made to Decision No. 1514-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of 11 September 2020, which entered into force on 17 May 2021.
- When entering the territory of the Republic of Armenia, the following must be presented.
- A certificate* no older than 72 hours confirming a negative result of a PCR test for the diagnosis of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), or
- A certificate* confirming full vaccination against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with two doses, with the second dose administered at least 14 days prior to the date of entry into the country
- A negative test or vaccination certificate is not required for children up to 1 year of age.
- Persons arriving in the Republic of Armenia from the territory of the Russian Federation shall present the certificate (reference) through the mobile application «Путешествую без COVID-19».
- Entry into the Republic of Armenia remains open for foreigners both by air and by land.
- The quarantine on the territory of the Republic of Armenia, due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19), has been set until 11 July 2021.
In the case of persons registered in the ARMED system, the vaccination certificate may be presented through the ArmedeHealth mobile application. The person may present the vaccination reference via the mobile application or in a paper version exported from the mobile application, protected by a QR code.
Persons without a certificate are subject to sampling at the airport or land border crossing points and mandatory self-isolation until a negative PCR test result is received.
According to the examination result, the person is transferred to hospital if corresponding symptoms are present.
The costs of the PCR test are borne by the citizen.
