The 5th General Delegate Assembly of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party, which recorded the unity of ADL Armenia-Diaspora activities henceforth, adopted a political resolution focusing the party’s upcoming activities on addressing the challenges currently facing the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people.
In this connection, the party’s Republican Board has initiated political consultations and discussions with a number of parties, political forces and figures, within the framework of which a meeting was held on October 17 with the ANC (Levon Zurabian, Aram Manukian, Samvel Abrahamian), and on October 24 with representatives of “Bright Armenia” (Edmon Marukian, Ani Samsonean).
During the meetings, the country’s domestic political situation, regional developments and their impact on the Republic of Armenia were discussed.
The participants deemed the ADL initiative of an open-door policy with political forces to be timely and necessary.
Such discussions, which will be ongoing, provide an opportunity to bring to light ideological commonalities and find common paths for solving problems.
Participating in the discussions in this format were the Chairman of the ADL Republican Board Hrachya Karapetian, Vice-Chairman Karen Kakoian, accompanied by the representative of the ADL Central Board, Vice-Chairman of the ADL Central Board Aleksan Karadanayan.
