As of 11:00 a.m. on 19 May, a total of 5,041 confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease have been recorded in Armenia, of which 2,164 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At present, 2,788 infected individuals are receiving actual treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 43,041 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 218 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 145 recoveries.
In total, 64 deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (an increase of 3).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 59 and 56 and a woman aged 74, and they had underlying chronic diseases.
There have also been 25 recorded deaths in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death was caused by another illness.
