Discussions on Implementing Armenian-Turkish Agreements to Continue: MFA

Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service has commented on the statement by Turkish President’s press spokesman Ibrahim Kalin that a meeting of Armenian-Turkish technical delegations took place at the border at the beginning of November. In a conversation with Armenpress, MFA press secretary Vahan Hunanyan stated that Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan had already publicized information about that meeting at the beginning of November. According to Rubinyan, the Armenian side’s participating agencies at the meeting were those tasked with implementing the agreements reached on 1 July by the special representatives for the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations.

In a conversation with Armenpress, MFA press secretary Vahan Hunanyan stated that Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan had already publicized information about that meeting at the beginning of November.

According to Rubinyan, the Armenian side’s participating agencies at the meeting were those tasked with implementing the agreements reached on 1 July by the special representatives for the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations.

“During the meeting, technical issues related to the implementation of the reached agreements were discussed. The discussions will continue,” Hunanyan said.
