France has called for the restoration of traffic through the Lachin corridor without preconditions. This was stated in a declaration issued by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“France calls for the restoration, without any precondition, of supplies to Mountainous Karabakh through the Lachin corridor, while preserving the rights of the residents there,” the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
In Paris, the need to uphold the provisions of the trilateral declaration of 9 November 2020 on the cessation of hostilities was also recalled.
“Azerbaijan is obliged to guarantee the safety of the movement of people, vehicles and cargo in both directions through the Lachin corridor,” was emphasised in the statement of the French foreign ministry.
