An incident was recorded during a protest by representatives of the Armenian community in France in support of Artsakh’s independence.
When representatives of the Armenian community had closed off one of the highways in both directions and were making calls for the recognition of Artsakh, chanting “Artsakh is ours,” “Aliyev, Erdogan, terrorist,” several Turks who were in the cars stuck in the traffic jam attacked the Armenians, striking one of the protesters on the head with a hammer. According to the Armenians, they also had knives and clubs in their hands.
At this moment, police have arrived at the scene. One of the attackers was captured thanks to the efforts of the Armenian protesters. The road remains closed. A helicopter is arriving at the scene to transport the injured to the hospital.
