A group of doctors from France, on a special flight, have arrived in Armenia to lend support to the RA healthcare system in the fight against the coronavirus. We learn this from the Facebook page of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
According to the said information, they were to be on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus early this morning.
RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan, for his part, wrote on his Facebook page today:
“Our doctor colleagues who arrived from France yesterday have already begun work in the intensive care units of 3 major hospitals dealing with COVID — Surb Grigor Lusavorich MC, Surb Astvatsamayr MC, and the Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics. I thank all our colleagues for organizing their visit; it will truly be useful for us.”
In recent days, Lithuania, Georgia, and the World Health Organization have expressed readiness to support Armenia in the fight against the coronavirus.
