A political decision has been made that on Tuesday the Prosecutor General will enter the National Assembly with a motion to strip Gagik Tsarukyan of parliamentary immunity and to involve him as a defendant. This was written on her Facebook page by Naira Zohrabyan, a deputy of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction.
“The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Artur Davtyan, still has the opportunity not to carry out a political order.
!No Pasarán,” she noted.
It should be noted that since the morning hours of yesterday, the law enforcement bodies of the Republic of Armenia conducted searches in Tsarukyan’s private residence in the Arinj district, and parallel to those processes, the National Security Service published a statement in which it was noted that there had been material abuses by the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party. Later, it was mentioned that in the last elections, the Prosperous Armenia Party had resorted to providing bribes to voters in order to achieve success.
