The Football Federation of Armenia has summarised the results of the 2019 voting in the “Footballer of the Year” category: Armenia’s best footballer of 2019 has been recognised as the captain of the Armenian national team and midfielder of Italy’s “Roma”, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who receives this title for the 9th time. Mkhitaryan collected 109 points.
According to the FFA website, with 104 points, second is the forward of the Armenian national team and Germany’s “Hoffenheim”, Sargis Adamyan.
With 61 points, third place is occupied by the forward of the Armenian national team and Kazakhstan’s “Astana” club, Tigran Barseghyan.
