Constitutional Court (CC) President Hrayr Tovmasyan has filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, reports the “Datalex” information system.
In the lawsuit, the CC president demands that the prime minister apologize for expressions constituting insult and retract information constituting defamation.
It has been assigned to Gayane Khachatryan, judge of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction. A court hearing date has not yet been set.
Prime Minister Pashinyan, it will be recalled, had said that Tovmasyan had offered his services and flattered him, while Tovmasyan had denied this. Then Pashinyan published, as evidence, a pen Tovmasyan had given him, and Tovmasyan urged his lawyers to prepare a lawsuit against the prime minister.
