Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, in Geneva, TASS reports.
Mnatsakanyan expressed gratitude to Lavrov for the opportunity to meet and discuss certain “key issues.”
Later, Armenia’s Foreign Ministry informed that during the meeting they discussed a wide range of issues related to the bilateral and multilateral agenda of Armenian-Russian allied relations, a number of pressing regional and international issues, and developments in the Middle East.
The foreign ministers also touched upon the Artsakh peace process.
The ministers’ previous negotiations took place in November during Lavrov’s visit to Yerevan.
The ministers are participating in the high-level meeting of the 43rd session of the UN Human Rights Council.
