PM: Armenia’s exports of goods and services grew by 10.3 percent

In 2019, the manufacturing industry grew by 12 percent, becoming the leading sector of the economy with a 12.1 percent share in the structure of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), announced Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. “Exports of goods and services from Armenia grew by 10.3 percent in 2019. Moreover, exports of medium-tech goods grew by 26.9 percent, and exports of high-tech goods by 13.5 percent,” the Prime Minister wrote on his Facebook page. In 2019, the manufacturing industry grew by 12 percent, becoming the leading sector of the economy with a 12.1 percent share in the structure of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), announced Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“Exports of goods and services from Armenia grew by 10.3 percent in 2019. Moreover, exports of medium-tech goods grew by 26.9 percent, and exports of high-tech goods by 13.5 percent,” the Prime Minister wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, tourism also grew by 14.7 percent. “And as a result, the fastest growing sector of the economy was the accommodation and food service sector, growing by 27.2 percent compared to 2018,” Pashinyan noted.
