Parallel to the fierce battles on the front line, fierce battles are also underway in the various domains of social media, which are as important as the battles taking place at the border. This is what Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the representative of the RA Ministry of Defense, wrote on his Facebook page.
“Today, apart from state institutions that have no day or night (the staff of the SNCO, the information services of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), various groups, either by uniting or through individual initiatives, are already carrying out enormous work in all directions of the media.
I assure you that the information war is equally important, and here too we must win by working together. I especially want to thank the Armenian Social Media Army group, represented by Hagop Hagopyan, who, in direct contact with me, ensure the information rear. I thank you all. There are other groups as well; I will address them all in turn, if you agree.
