“LONG LIVE ARTSAKH

Dear Armenian people,

Our country is today experiencing one of the heaviest times in our history. Our pain is deep and heavy, unimaginable is the grief of the parents and relatives of our heroic soldiers…

Our heroic boys did not spare their lives for Artsakh, therefore Artsakh must live; it is also our duty to keep Artsakh alive. After what has happened, it is very difficult to continue living, thinking, and seeking solutions, but we are obliged… we are obliged to recover, to rethink values, not to give in and not to renounce the dream of having a strong, intelligent, and mighty Armenia and Artsakh, turning that dream into everyday measurable actions and results. Otherwise, what meaning does our existence have after all this.

We have lost the battle, but the war is not yet over. In the new battle, we must live, develop, and grow strong, for the sake of final victory.

Dear compatriots, as I have previously stated, I have health problems, for the treatment of which I was to travel abroad in October, but the war made decisions for many of us. Immediately after the end of the war, I visited Artsakh. Having become acquainted with the situation, it became clear to me that I am interrupting my treatment and moving to live in Artsakh. Simply to live…

At that time, on my own initiative, I met with the President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, informing him that I had decided to move to Artsakh and was ready to help Artsakh and its people to the best of my ability. The President of Artsakh was glad to hear this and asked me to consider several possibilities.

Today I am already in Artsakh, and I will have the opportunity to inform you about my future plans. However, I am confident that whatever the format, whatever my status, I have already decided what I will do next: to live and keep Artsakh alive in Armenian…

With deep respect,

Mane Tandilyan.”
