In Armenia, Number of Coronavirus Patients Reaches 42,477

In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 21 August, a total of 42,477 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 35,693 have recovered. This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health. At this moment, 5,689 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 192,199 tests have been conducted. Thus, we have 158 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 217 recovered. Six new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 842). In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 21 August, a total of 42,477 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 35,693 have recovered.

This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.

At this moment, 5,689 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 192,199 tests have been conducted.

Thus, we have 158 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 217 recovered.

Six new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 842).

The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 75 and 82, and women aged 84, 85, 92, and 51. All had accompanying chronic diseases.

Two more cases were recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death was caused by another disease. The total number of such cases is 253.
