Levon Davityan Appointed Deputy Head of the Intelligence Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces

By decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, Levon Davityan has been appointed Deputy Head of the Intelligence Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. “Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in accordance with Part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 35.1 and Point 1 of Part 1 of Article 36 of the Law ‘On Military Service and the Status of a Serviceman.’ Appoint Levon Davityan as Deputy Head of the Intelligence Main Directorate of the General Staff of the

By decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, Levon Davityan has been appointed Deputy Head of the Intelligence Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

“Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in accordance with Part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 35.1 and Point 1 of Part 1 of Article 36 of the Law ‘On Military Service and the Status of a Serviceman.’

Appoint Levon Davityan as Deputy Head of the Intelligence Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia,” reads the decree.

It should be noted that Colonel Davityan has held the position of Head of the Information-Analytical Directorate of the Intelligence Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces — Deputy Head of the Main Directorate.

Incidentally, Davityan was among the military officers who issued a statement on 25 February 2021 demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.
