French President Emmanuel Macron will attend the annual dinner of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France. This was announced by Mourad Papazian, co-chair of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France, in an interview with Armenpress.
This year, the Armenian community’s annual dinner will take place on 29 January. Mourad Papazian stated that the guest of honor at the event is the renowned Turkish historian Taner Akçam.
The dinner is scheduled at l’Hôtel du Collectionneur in Paris. The French President is expected to deliver a speech at the dinner.
It is known that each dinner, which has become a tradition, is attended by the French President, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, government members, parliamentarians, high-ranking representatives of French state and local authorities, leaders of Franco-Armenian organizations, and spiritual fathers.
