Mnatsakanyan and Lavrov Discuss Situation Around the Artsakh Peace Process

RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a telephone conversation with RF Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on 26 August. This was reported by the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Department of Information and Public Diplomacy. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Sergey Lavrov discussed regional developments following the July hostilities and, within that context, the situation around the Artsakh peace process. Minister Mnatsakanyan underscored the importance of Armenian-Russian cooperation aimed at preserving regional peace, stability and security. The heads of the foreign policy agencies of Armenia and Russia also exchanged views on issues related to the agenda of Armenian-Russian allied relations.
