Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has stated that there is no alternative to regulating relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. As reported by Armenpress, citing Azerbaijani media outlets, Jeyhun Bayramov said this during a press conference following his meeting with Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.
Bayramov noted that the regulation of relations must be based on mutual recognition of each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Despite the obvious fact that offensive rhetoric and threats against Armenia are heard from Azerbaijan every day, Bayramov accused Armenia of hostile rhetoric. He stated that after the 44-day war, Azerbaijan is advancing a peace agenda, but Armenia is threatening with offensive rhetoric.
