In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 17 July, a total of 34,001 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 22,492 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this moment, 10,692 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 143,114 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 442 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 561 recovered.
13 new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 620).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 56, 53, 51, 64, 76, 84, 79, 68, 49, 62 and 83, and women aged 70 and 73. All had accompanying chronic diseases.
An additional 8 deaths were recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was another disease. The total number of such cases is 197.
