Henrikh Mkhitaryan, midfielder for Italy’s “Roma” and the Armenian national team, posted on his official Facebook page and expressed his support for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
“With the greatest concern I follow the tension taking place on the borders of our homeland in recent days, the news about targeted settlements, and I want to express my support to our brave soldiers, who at the cost of their lives defend our homeland with their heroic actions.
With deep sorrow I offer my condolences to the families of our heroic martyrs and pray for the speedy recovery of the wounded soldiers. I wish peace to our homeland!
