Number of Coronavirus Patients in Armenia Reaches 40,593

As of 11:00 a.m. on August 11, a total of 40,593 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 33,157 have recovered. This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health. At this moment, 6,399 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 177,322 tests have been conducted. As of 11:00 a.m. on August 11, a total of 40,593 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 33,157 have recovered.

This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.

At this moment, 6,399 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 177,322 tests have been conducted.

Thus, we have 160 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 541 recovered.

Seven new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 803).

The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 71, 86, 81, 67 and women aged 71, 73, 84. All had underlying chronic diseases.

Six additional deaths were recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death occurred due to another disease. The total number of such cases is 234.
