As of 11:00 on 26 August, a total of 43,067 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 36,726 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this moment, 5,216 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 198,569 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 131 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 251 recoveries.
Three new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 861).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 63 and 79, and a woman aged 58. They had accompanying chronic diseases.
Four additional cases were recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death was caused by another disease. The total number of such cases is 264.
