On November 17, 502 refugees returned from Armenia to Stepanakert. As reported by Armenpress, this was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense. It was noted that a convoy of 24 buses traveled from Yerevan to the main square of Stepanakert, escorted by Russian peacekeeping forces and military police.
The safe return of refugees and the security of movement of civilians returning to their homes toward the line of contact is organized under the direction and supervision of the interdepartmental center for humanitarian response.
It was noted that since November 14, more than 1,700 residents who had earlier left their homes have returned to Stepanakert.
The safe movement of the buses was ensured by Russian servicemen.
