At the invitation of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, the President of the National Assembly of the French Republic, Yaël Braun-Pivet, has arrived in Yerevan. This was announced by the RA National Assembly.
The delegation headed by the President of the French National Assembly includes Vice-President of the National Assembly Valérie Rabault, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Jean-Louis Bourlanges, Deputy for French citizens residing abroad Anne Genetet, and Deputy for the Bouches-du-Rhône constituency Anne-Laurence Petel.

The agenda of the two-day visit of the high-ranking French guests is full. Meetings are planned with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and other high-ranking officials, as well as an expanded-format meeting with deputies at the National Assembly. The guests’ agenda also includes a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. A joint press conference by RA National Assembly President Alen Simonyan and President of the French National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet is also planned.
