Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent condolence messages to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in connection with the tragic plane crash near Tehran, we learn from the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
The message sent to the President of Ukraine reads:
“Dear Mr. Zelensky,
It was with deep sorrow that I received the painful news of the crash of an aircraft belonging to Ukraine International Airlines near Tehran.
On behalf of the Armenian people and personally in my own name, I express my deepest condolences and support to the families and relatives of the victims. In this difficult moment, we stand by the side of the friendly people of Ukraine.”
The message sent to the President of Iran reads:
“Your Excellency,
It was with grief that I learned of the tragic plane crash near Tehran on 8 January, which caused dozens of human casualties. On behalf of the Armenian people, I express my deepest condolences to you, to the families of the victims, and to the friendly people of Iran.”
