Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of Lebanon Michel Aoun. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“A short while ago I had a telephone conversation with President of Lebanon Michel Aoun.
Expressing solidarity and condolences regarding yesterday’s explosion and its victims, I offered the Republic of Armenia’s assistance to the brotherly people of Lebanon.
The Lebanese government is now assessing the needs, and based on the assessment, the Armenian government will make decisions as needed,” the Prime Minister wrote.
From the RA Prime Minister’s Office’s Department of Information and Public Relations, it is reported that during the telephone conversation, President of Lebanon Michel Aoun expressed thanks for the words of consolation and conveyed his gratitude for the readiness of the Armenian government to provide support based on Lebanon’s needs. He informed that the country’s authorities are making every effort to overcome the problems created as soon as possible.
