In view of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Lebanon, the ADL Lebanon Regional Board announces the following.
1. The Armenian Democratic Liberal Party’s Lebanon Regional Board has held a series of meetings with Lebanese and Armenian parties. At the conclusion of these meetings, after discussing all the data, it has taken the decision to support the candidates presented by the traditional Armenian parties in all regions of Lebanon.
2. Rallying around our parties’ candidates must be our goal. Slogans of the moment come and go; what remains is the legacy of parties that have served our people for decades. Let change come from within us, through dialogue. Constructive criticism and the presentation of alternatives must be the only way of speaking with one another. Through sustained dialogue we can succeed in resolving our community’s issues.
3. May the results of the parliamentary election be for the benefit of our community and of Lebanon, and not for the benefit of a faction or an individual. This must be our supreme goal.
