The Armenian Unified Infocenter has published photos of the Su-25 attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, which was shot down by one of the F-16 fighters belonging to the Air Force of the Republic of Turkey.

Let us recall that F-16 fighters belonging to the Air Force of the Republic of Turkey had taken off from Azerbaijan’s “Ganja” airbase and were providing cover for the missile and bomb strikes carried out by Azerbaijan’s Su-25 aircraft and Turkish-made “Bayraktar” drones from the “Dalar” airbase against Armenian settlements and ground units of the Armed Forces stationed in the Vardenis, Mets Masrik, and Sotk areas of the Vardenis region of the Republic of Armenia.

While carrying out the combat mission, during anti-aircraft and aerial combat, the Su-25 attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia was shot down in the airspace of the Republic of Armenia by an F-16 fighter of the Air Force of the Republic of Turkey.

The pilot, unfortunately, was heroically martyred.
